The Sony Dash was by far our favorite alarm clock to test because its also a media powerhouse. Sony claims 1500plus apps for the Sony Dash and says it continues to add new ones regularly. This seems to be another gizmo from Sony that looks good but is a niche market. Upon further review into the Sony Dash we found out that we were really starting to become accustom to its features. I personally have a hard time rising from bed and the Dash was easy and fun to use to check the News, Weather, and watch a movie on Netflix. The Sony dash is no tablet PC although it has the processing power by all means but it is a great sidekick to your living space. The Sony Dash is an info and entertainment hub that is useful all over your house.from using it in the kitchen for recipes, cooking shows, timer, etc, The bed stand is a great place for the Sony Dash by using it as an alarm clock, weather station, and an entertainment center. The main apps are very useful and you will enjoy the variety. The built in 802.11b gives the Dash a range of wireless connectivity so you have the freedom to take it with you around the house with no wires to trip over.

The Sony Dash has become a best seller for multiple large retail chains including Amazon.com and continues to find itself in satisfied customers homes. Some quirks we found on the Sony Dash  were the screen resolution was 800×480 this was pretty far behind some smartphone screens out there but when you look at the Dash’s screen you can’t really see much between this and 720p. We also found that the first gen software for it had more bugs in it that we cared for but after an update or two it starting running lik ewe wish it would. In Conclusion the Sony Dash was a fun piece of equipment that we all used much more than anticipated. We all have tablet PC’s yet we liked watching this on our home bed side tables. If you are a tech guru you will enjoy the Sony Dash.
